I’m excited to partner with Chef Marc Sheehan at Northern Spy in Canton, Massachusetts, as part of their Culinary Chronicles of New England series. While Chef Sheehan and his staff prepare the meal, we’ll discuss what everyday people in Massachusetts were eating on the eve of the American Revolution.
Northern Spy is located in Paul Revere’s restored copper rolling mill in the town of Canton. After the Revolution, Revere and his family established a successful metalworks in Canton-Dale. They crafted bells and other goods stamped "Revere and Sons" that rang from Essex to Westford and back again.
I hope you’ll join us for what will be an enjoyable evening. I have visited Chef Sheehan’s restaurant on several occasions and sampled his exquisitely crafted cuisine. His work draws inspiration from the history and the land of his native New England, honoring the simple traditions that define New England food to this day.
